Hi everyone!
So here we are again in November ..it's grey, gets dark early, the clocks have changed and the light salads and grilled meats of summer have been replaced by more hearty fare.
But celebration is also in the crisp winter air, christmas lights are starting to appear and the countdown to Thanksgiving, Sinterklaas and Christmas has begun.
Lets go to the end of the month and get a quick look at our Thanksgiving celebrations. We have been hunting for a talented american chef who could take up the challenge of running cooking sessions for americas favourite holiday. We are very happy to welcome Linda to the team for this special event. She has prepared a traditional feast-like menu (discover it HERE
) that should give those americans amongst you of a taste of home, and us non-americans a greater understanding of thanksgiving (and a full belly!). We will run 3 sessions - 24th, 25th & 26th November so no-one misses out - bookings are now open.
This month, the kitchen is supporting Movember - a charity that encourages men to grow a moustache throughout november to help raise awareness and funds for research against male specific illnesses, especially prostate cancer (all details can be found on their website).
So every tuesday this month is Movember tuesday - great FUNdraisers with a new theme every week, from Mo'balls sessions, to wine tasting, but also walking dinners...
